EDS: Where the Electronics Industry Connects

Las Vegas, Nevada. May 5–8, 2008.

International

EDS, Where the Electronics Industry Connects, has been serving the U.S. electronic distribution community as a meeting place and marketplace since 1937. In recent years, a substantial number of companies from outside the U.S. have been visiting or exhibiting in EDS. With the continuing globalization of the electronics marketplace, EDS welcomes international visitors.

However, newcomers should be aware that EDS is different from the typical European or Pacific Rim exposition (although it has been influenced by them). The emphasis is on scheduled meetings and quality of attendance, not open exhibits and quantity.

For manufacturers who would like to sell their products in the U.S.A., EDS provides an opportunity to meet with virtually every U.S. electronic distributor company, from small local distributors to the international giants.

For distributors who would like to find U.S. sources of supply, EDS provides an opportunity to meet with some 400 manufacturers. Be aware, however, that many of these companies are not found in stands in the exhibit area.   They participate in hotel suites and other closed-door facilities at EDS, and are available only by appointment.

EDS provides a special on-site orientation program for international visitors to help them achieve their objectives in visiting this marketplace. Contact us well in advance, so we can advise and assist you with your program.
